Range Builder

Build Powerball combinations by white-ball range distribution

Range Builder is a LottoXray generation tool for choosing how many white balls should come from each number range. In Powerball, it groups the five white balls across ranges like 1-10, 11-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, and 61-69 before applying that pattern to Filter Builder.

Choose a complete white-ball range pattern

Range Builder controls distribution, not exact numbers. Instead of saying that a generated Powerball game must include 24 or 32, it can say that the game should include one white ball from 1-10, none from 11-20, none from 21-30, one from 31-40, one from 41-50, two from 51-60, and none from 61-69.

This pattern describes Powerball combinations by range shape, spread, and historical distribution without forcing exact white-ball values.

Powerball Example

Read the pattern table before applying a distribution

In the Powerball example, each table row is one valid mathematical distribution for the five white balls. The combinations column shows how many white-ball combinations match that row before other filters are added.

A row with 40,500 combinations is not a prediction. It is the exact count of combinations that fit that range pattern. You can combine this with other filters such as odd/even rules, excluded numbers, Number Picker, or Position Builder.

Filter Builder

Apply the selected range pattern to generated games

After you choose a row, the Range Builder bottom bar shows the selected badges and the total combination count. Clicking Apply sends that pattern into Filter Builder, where it becomes an active white-ball range rule.

The applied badges stay visible below the range buttons, so you can confirm the active Powerball range distribution before generating games.

White Balls Only

Range Builder does not control special balls

Some lottery games have a separate special-ball pool, such as the red Powerball in Powerball. In that example, the game has five white balls from 1-69 and one Powerball from 1-26. Range Builder only controls the white-ball side of the game.

A range pattern such as 1, X, X, 1, 1, 2, X describes only the five white balls. It does not describe the special ball. For games with a special ball, that separate value is handled by its own controls.

FAQ

Range Builder questions

What does Range Builder do in LottoXray?

Range Builder lets you choose a complete white-ball distribution pattern, such as one number from 1-10, none from 11-20, and two from 51-60, then apply that pattern to Filter Builder.

Does Range Builder control the Powerball number?

No. In a Powerball example, Range Builder only controls the five white balls from 1-69. The separate Powerball pool is handled by its own filters and is not changed by Range Builder.

Can Range Builder predict Powerball results?

No. Range Builder is a mathematical filtering and organization tool. Lottery drawings are random and independent, and no range pattern predicts or guarantees future results.

How is Range Builder different from Number Picker?

Number Picker selects exact numbers that must appear. Range Builder selects a distribution shape across number ranges, without forcing specific white-ball values.
