Sequence Builder

Build lottery combinations with consecutive white-ball groups

Sequence Builder is a LottoXray generation tool for selecting consecutive white-ball groups. Using Powerball as an example, it can list pairs like 1 and 2, triplets like 20, 21, and 22, or larger number sequences before applying them to Filter Builder.

Choose a sequence length

Sequence Builder starts with a group size, such as Pair, Triplet, Quad, or Quint. The table then lists every matching consecutive white-ball group for that length.

A pair means two consecutive numbers, such as 1 and 2 or 10 and 11. A triplet means three consecutive numbers, such as 20, 21, and 22. The tool lists the possibilities so you can choose sequence groups without manually scanning the number picker.

Powerball Example

Combine sequence groups up to the white-ball limit

In the Powerball example, the game has five white balls. You can select two pairs for four selected white balls, or select one pair plus one triplet to fill all five white-ball slots.

If you select 10 and 11, then select 20, 21, and 22, the bottom bar shows 5/5 selected white balls. Sequence groups that would exceed the game limit are disabled until you clear or replace a compatible selection.

Filter Builder

Apply selected sequence numbers to generated games

After you choose one or more sequence rows, the bottom bar shows the selected white balls. Clicking Apply sends those exact numbers into Filter Builder as anchored white balls.

Sequence Builder does not automatically exclude neighboring values. It anchors the selected sequence numbers, while the rest of your Filter Builder settings continue to control the remaining slots.

Applied in Filter Builder

Selected sequence numbers become anchored white balls for generated games.

The selected sequence numbers are required, but other Filter Builder settings can still shape the rest of the game.

White Balls Only

Sequence Builder does not control special balls

Some lottery games have a separate special-ball pool, such as the red Powerball in Powerball or the Mega Ball in Mega Millions. Sequence Builder only controls the white-ball side of the game.

For games with five white balls, selected sequence groups can use up to five white-ball slots. For games with six white balls, they can use up to six. The separate special ball remains controlled by its own filters.

FAQ

Sequence Builder questions

What does Sequence Builder do in LottoXray?

Sequence Builder lists consecutive white-ball groups, such as 1-2, 2-3, or 20-21-22. You choose a sequence length and apply selected groups to Filter Builder.

Can I select a pair and a triplet together?

Yes. In supported Generate Games tools, you can combine sequence groups up to the white-ball count for that game. A five-white-ball game can hold one pair plus one triplet, or two pairs with one slot still open.

Does Sequence Builder force an exact sequence pattern?

Sequence Builder anchors the selected white balls in Filter Builder. It does not automatically exclude neighboring values, so other filters can still affect the final generated game.

Does Sequence Builder control the special ball?

No. In a Powerball example, Sequence Builder only controls the five white balls from 1-69. The red Powerball is controlled separately.

Can Sequence Builder predict lottery results?

No. Sequence Builder is a mathematical filtering and organization tool. Lottery drawings are random and independent, and no number sequence predicts or guarantees future results.
