Number Picker
Pick numbers that must appear in every generated game
Number Picker is a LottoXray tool for choosing numbers that must appear somewhere in each generated combination. These selected numbers are applied as key numbers, so they can land in any sorted column after the final game is ordered.

Select numbers that must appear
Select numbers from the frequency table and apply them to Filter Builder as key numbers. In a Powerball example, choosing 24 and 32 means every generated white-ball combination must include both numbers.
Analyze Last is a paid setting when you want to change the draw window. On the free plan, Number Picker can still analyze all available draws in the LottoXray database.
Select white balls from frequency data and apply them as key numbers.
Use Powerball, Mega Ball, Millionaire Ball, or another available special ball as a key number
If the selected lottery game has a separate special ball, that value can also be used as a key number. The special ball is handled separately from the main white-ball pool.
Special Ball Key Number
The same idea can apply to a separate special-ball pool.
Review the result after applying key numbers
After key numbers are applied, LottoXray generates only games that include the selected values. The remaining open spots are filled according to the other active filters, or generated randomly when no additional filters control those positions.
Powerball example with 24, 32, and Powerball 12 as key numbers.
Number Picker questions
What does Number Picker do in LottoXray?
Number Picker lets you filter or sort the frequency table by views such as hot numbers, cold numbers, overdue numbers, and ascending order, then choose numbers that must appear in every generated game. Selected white balls are applied as key numbers, so they can appear in any sorted position after the game is ordered. Hot, cold, and overdue labels describe historical behavior only; they do not make a number more or less likely in a future random draw.
Can Number Picker select the special ball?
Yes, when the selected lottery game has a separate special ball. In Powerball, for example, the red Powerball can be selected separately from the white-ball numbers.
Is Number Picker the same as Position Builder?
No. Number Picker requires selected numbers to appear somewhere in the generated game. Position Builder is stricter because it can force a selected white ball into a specific sorted column.
Can Number Picker predict lottery results?
No. Number Picker is a filtering and organization tool. It controls which selected numbers must appear in generated combinations, but lottery drawings remain random and independent.
For informational and organizational use only
Number Picker is for building filtered combinations only. Lottery drawings are random and independent. This tool does not predict future results, change lottery probabilities, sell tickets, accept wagers, confirm prizes, or guarantee outcomes. Always verify official results, odds, prizes, and rules with the official lottery provider.
